Tooth Coloured Restorations

I have recently completed implant surgery at Dawood & Tanner. I was very nervous at my initial consultation, but Dr Dawood was reassuring and clear about the appropriate treatment - I immediately felt in good hands. I had conscious sedation for the surgery, which I thoroughly recommend. The immediate pain was well-managed and I left the surgery looking better already. The process of 'designing my smile' with Dr Tanner (the fun bit) was incredibly thorough, drawing on photos of my teeth when younger, to achieve an appearance that is natural, age appropriate and pretty. I didn't feel pressured or rushed at any stage. I didn't quite believe Dr Tanner at first when she said that it would be more rejuvenating than a face lift (explaining how the teeth support the mouth and face) but it is really true - the end result exceeds my expectations. All the staff are pleasant and welcoming and the ancillary services such as imaging dovetail efficiently with appointments. I would thoroughly recommend Dawood & Tanner.

I would whole heartedly recommend Dawood and Tanner especially Francesca Tosson. I have recently had a bridge and crown for my front four teeth replaced and I'm thrilled with the result. It was a long process, needing temporaries, and Francesca was excellent the whole way through. She is extremely meticulous and even the temporaries looked good, she took care to shape and match them to best suit me. I didn't have that awkward time wanting to hide my teeth. She is highly professional and skilled. She is also caring and made sure I was comfortable all the time, always explaining what was happening. She has the highest standards and wasn't satisfied until things were right. I have had a number of bridges and crowns in the past and always hoped for a natural result. My teeth now are way better than anything before and I love smiling! People have complimented me on my teeth, which is a first for me. I never dreamt anyone would say I had great teeth (and they did!). I have added photos of before and after, to show the difference. I have no hesitation in recommending Francesca and have done so to friends and my own children. I would want a dentist who is highly knowledgeable, skilled, considerate, and also has a creative flare for making lovely teeth. Francesca fits the bill.

My treatment at Dawood and Tanner has been the best dental experience I have ever had. Yes it comes at a price but if I had found this practice in the first place I would saved myself a lot of costly and traumatic dentistry that has only had to be redone. Dr Dawood has changed my life with his implant surgery. My new teeth now contains my tongue during the night which has cured my sleep apnea. I can now chew probably for the first time in decades which is so much better for me nutritionally but also socially. The surgery itself was so much less stressful that I thought it would be, I did have the sedation option which was wonderful but afterwards in the recovery room everyone was so kind. The aftercare was attentive too and there was always someone available if I needed to speak to anyone. My ongoing dental care with Professor Shannon has brought me a lot of confidence going forward. All the staff are so kind and friendly. Best decision I ever made to leave my former dental practice and get treatment here instead.
