Dental Therapist & Hygienist
DipDH RCS (Eng), DipDT RCS (Eng)
I have been in Dentistry for 8 years when I started my career as a Dental Nurse at Kings College Hospital. In 2016 I joined Dawood and Tanner as a Dental Nurse and this encouraged me to study further and I went on to study at The Eastman Dental Hospital in London and now hold a dual qualification as a Dental Therapist and Hygienist.
As a Dental Therapist, I carry out hygiene and restorative treatments for adult and paediatric patients.
My main role is providing personalised oral hygiene routines, and tailored preventative care and advice in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I work well with dentally anxious patients.
I also work in the Maxillofacial Department at William Harvey Hospital providing treatment predominantly for head and neck cancer patients.
I am a member of the British Association of Dental Therapists and I keep my knowledge up to date by attending a variety of educational courses and further training programmes.
In my spare time I enjoy going on long walks with my dog Tilly, baking and travelling.
