I qualified with honours in 1995 from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
From 1995 to 2001 I worked in private practice in the UK, but returned to South Africa in 2002 to complete a 4 year full-time post graduate degree in Prosthodontics in which we covered a broad range of material ranging from the restoration of teeth to complex dental implant problems. In 2006 I was invited onto the specialist register in Prosthodontics in South Africa.
My particular field of expertise extends across implant dentistry, crown and bridgework, tooth coloured restorations, aesthetic dentistry and dentures. My masters thesis was published in 2008 in the International Journal of Prosthodontics.
I love all aspects of dentistry and am therefore pleased to provide general dentistry, and to also collaborate and orchestrate care with other specialists in our practise for challenging multidisciplinary treatments . I am passionate about preserving teeth and tooth structure wherever possible – so I particularly enjoy providing minimally invasive cosmetic restorative dental treatments.
In my free time I enjoy spending my time with family and friends; I am passionate about food, and golf.
