Theodoros Kapos
GDC 225354 Registered Specialist in Prosthodontics
Specialist in ProsthodonticsDMD (Harvard), MMSc (Harvard), Implant Certificate (Harvard)
I received my dental degree (DMD) from Harvard School of Dental Medicine (Boston, USA) and remained there to earn a Master’s degree (MMSc) in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Prosthodontics.
To further my skills and knowledge, I joined an Advanced Graduate Implantology Program at Harvard from which I received a certificate in Implant Dentistry. Following completion of this I was appointed as faculty at Harvard as a clinical instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences.
I am a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the former chairman of the Junior Committee of the European Academy for Osseointegration (EAO), and an active member of the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP). I am also an honorary lecturer at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute and lecture at local, national, and international meetings about my research which has been published in international peer-reviewed journals.
I am passionate about getting to know my patients and understanding their needs and concerns. With a philosophy rooted in evidence-based dentistry, I strive to restore teeth to their natural beauty and function while ensuring long-term durability.
I specialise in solving complex cases, so I mainly focus on treatments related to implant dentistry, cosmetics (ceramic veneers) and restorative dentistry such as crowns and bridgework. This is a truly unique type of dentistry, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to improve people’s quality of life.
Outside of work I enjoy playing the guitar, listening to jazz, cooking, playing tennis and spending time with my young family.
